Description/Duties: Looking for someone to come and clean our small basement apartment weekly. 2-4 hours a week with possibility for more hours on different home or yard projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with local business owners to develop and present customized marketing campaigns across TV, WDEF.com, mobile apps, and digital platforms.

  • Service and grow an existing list of clients while prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate commercial production and ensure advertising campaigns run smoothly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on campaign strategy, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Stay informed on local market trends, consumer insights, and emerging advertising tools.
  • Represent WDEF at community and station-sponsored events to strengthen client and brand connections.

Babysitter

Description/Duties: We are looking for a babysitter for our 3 boys (ages 9mo, 4yo, 6yo) from May through August. Help is needed while I work from home Mon-Fri 1-5pm (20hr/wk) with additional flexible hours if desired. Possibility to continue working with us into the next school year.

SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER FOR CHURCH  ENGAGEMENT AND EVENTS (SUMMER 2026)

Location/Department: Fleming Plaza, 5016 University Drive, Location: On-site at Child Impact International office on the campus of Southern Adventist University (near Village Market)

Description/Duties: The Summer Intern will serve as a support team member for the Church Engagement and Events department. This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, event planning, donor relations, and communications, while assisting with initiatives that help secure funding for Child Impact’s mission work.

Responsibilities:
•       Provide general administrative and office support for Church Engagement initiatives
•       Assist in researching, planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising and church events
•       Support donor outreach efforts, including invitation calls and follow-up communication
•       Assist with donor journey tasks and stewardship activities
•       Help maintain and organize data in CRM and fundraising platforms
•       Support branding, marketing, and communications projects as assigned
•       Perform additional duties as needed by the Church Engagement team

Qualifications: Own housing and reliable transportation required.
Required skills:
•       Strong communication and customer service skills
•       Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
