Description/Duties: Burning Season for Hamilton County is scheduled to begin on October 1.  I have a large number of sticks and small branches that have fallen over the last few months, and I would like to hire someone to pick up those sticks and pile them up for me for Burn season.  The work is not demanding, but I am a senior citizen who would appreciate assistance. 

Hours: very flexible.

Newscast Director Trainee/Media Manager


WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, TN, a subsidiary of Morris Network is seeking a Part-time Newscast Director Trainee/Media Manager.

Duties include but are not limited to punching and calling a fast-paced newscast, running audio, graphics, lighting, studio camera, teleprompter, editing and managing media.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years’ studio experience or college-related courses. Candidates must be capable of working evenings, weekends, and mornings.

Forest School Teacher

Location/Department: Ringgold, 20 minutes from SAU 

Description/Duties: 

  1. Help with forest school and recess
    2. Teach a short math and literacy class to 2-3 pre-k kids
    3. Teach a couple of these a few times a month based on interest/ experience: art, science, primitive skills, worship, music, nature nugget, world languages, etc.
    4. Help maintain areas and keep them clean and safe
    5. Lead out in a quiet time for pre-k
    6. Help with misc. duties

Part time babysitter

Early Morning Babysitting

Description/Duties: Occasional On-Call Babysitter for 2-Year-Old

We are looking for a warm, responsible, and dependable college student to provide occasional early-morning childcare for our 2-year-old daughter. Our 2-year old is active, loves being read to, and does not have any screen time.

This would be an **on-call/occasional position**, so we are hoping to build a small group of 2–3 trusted babysitters we can reach out to when childcare is needed. Early mornings may vary depending on our schedule, and we would do our best to provide advance notice whenever possible.

Arrive on time and provide attentive, engaged care
Prepare and serve a simple breakfast
Help with getting dressed and changing outfits as needed
