Yosef Garfinkel
PhD, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
is Yigael Yadin Professor of Biblical Archaeology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.He
has directed excavations at Shaar-Hagolan, Tel Tzaf, and Khirbet Qeiyafa. He has published
over 20 books on the archaeology of Israel and has exhibited the results of his excavations
at the Louvre and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since 2013, he is co-director of The Fourth Expedition to Lachish.

Michael G. Hasel
is Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Professor of Near Eastern Studies
and Archaeology at Southern Adventist University. He has participated in and directed
excavations in Jordan (Jalul), Cyprus (Idalion), and Israel (Ashkelon, Dor, Gezer,
Ekron, Hazor, Masada, Khirbet Qeiyafa). He specializes in military tactics of Egypt
and the ANE and has published several books. Since 2013, he is co-director of The Fourth Expedition to Lachish.

Martin G. Klingbeil
DLitt, Stellenbosch University
is Associate Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Professor of Biblical Studies
and Archaeology at Southern Adventist University. He has participated in excavations
in Jordan (Umeiri) and Israel (Khirbet Qeiyafa, Lachish). He specializes in ancient
seals and iconography and has published extensively in that field. Since 2013, he
is co-director of The Fourth Expedition to Lachish.
