Billing
Employees—There is a co-pay each time an employee or dependent is seen at NiteOwl Urgent Care. The co-pay is accepted in the form of cash, credit card, or check.
Students—Students will not have a co-pay for the visit charge at any NiteOwl Urgent Care location, because the university will cover this for every student. However, NiteOwl Urgent Care will bill insurance for individual services provided, so it is important that you bring your insurance information with you when visiting the clinic. Students are financially responsible for all non-covered services and co-insurance amounts.
Medical Records
Medical information is kept on file for 10 years, is strictly confidential, and may be released only with the written permission of the patient (or parent or guardian if the patient is under 18). Students who attended Southern Adventist University prior to June 1, 2026 may request copies of medical and or immunization records, by submitting a Medical Release Authorization found on the forms page. Submit to uhc@southern.edu
If you attended Southern Adventist University after June 1, 2026, your records will be maintained by NiteOwl and you may request them by calling 423-648-6483.
