As faculty at Southern Adventist University, you play a crucial role in guiding students through their academic and career journeys. To support you in this endeavor, the Life Calling and Career Services office offers a range of resources designed to assist students in their career development.

• Resume Reviews & Cover Letter Building
• Job & Graduate School Search Techniques

We also offer additional resources to faculty to enhance your students' career readiness:

• Class Presentations: We offer on-campus class presentations on career exploration, career development, and career assessments to support your students' career growth. We’re here to enhance your students' career readiness and help them navigate their future paths.
• 12twenty: 12twenty is your one-stop shop for a personalized career development journey. 12twenty is the student hiring and internship platform used by Career Services. 12twenty allows employers to post internships and open jobs and allows students to search and apply. In addition, 12twenty hosts both on-campus career events as well as employer and graduate school events off-campus and virtually. Students can also book appointments with a career counselor at Southern through this platform.
• Meet the Firms and Graduate Schools Fair: This in-person event provides students with valuable networking opportunities with potential employers and graduate school representatives. This fair takes place twice a year on-campus, October and February.

We encourage you to refer students to our office for support in choosing a major or exploring career options. Students can make appointments with a Career Counselor through our 12twenty website. Together, we can help our students succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
