Labs
Southern’s two computer labs are maintained and staffed by the School of Computing,
giving you opportunity to test out your troubleshooting skills on campus.
There are more than 50 modern personal computers that run state-of-the-art operating systems with the latest programming tools, as well as software and hardware development environments and computer applications. Southern Adventist University is a member of the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance, which means computing students have complimentary access to many of these tools on their personal computers.
All 50+ computers in Southern’s two computer labs are connected via ethernet to the School of Computing network using Windows and Unix servers. While using these machines, students have access to the School of Computing's gigabit (1000 Mbps) network.
