Graduate and 23+ Housing

Housing for Southern's single 23+ and graduate students who will have a roommate and/or housemate(s).
Rent is $750/month. (Effective 05/01/2026)

Students who are 25+ are also eligible for an unshared 1-bedroom apartment at the family housing rate.

Moving from dorm or village? Things To Know

Eligibility: 
  • Undergraduate residents' 23rd birthday must occur before the first day of class.
  • Graduate residents do not have a minimum age restriction.
Billing:
  • Rent is charged to your student account.
  • The billing cycle is organized in three equal 4-month increments.
    • Summer: May 1-August 31
    • Fall: September 1-December 31
    • Winter: January 1-April 30
  • If a resident moves in or out of the apartment anytime during or after a billing cycle their rent will be adjusted (prorated) based on their move-in and move-out dates.
  • Residents who wish to leave their belongings in their room for the summer while they are absent for a consecutive month or more, may be eligible for a reduced rental "storage" rate for the time they are gone.
Other:
  • Meal plan is not required.
  • No curfew or room check. However, mixed company is not allowed in the apartment after 11:00 pm.
  • An apartment manager lives on site monitoring the complex. No RA.
  • The resident will need to schedule a walk through with the apartment manger when moving in and moving out.
  • Lock out charges are $25.
