Welcome

The Feed My Sheep Food Pantry is a free resource available to all current Southern students and employees. The pantry offers a variety of grocery items, and students and employees are welcome to visit and select what works best for them and their households.

We are located in the Fleming Plaza Mini Mall, between the ABC Bookstore and Child Impact, Suite #1500.

The Feed My Sheep Food Pantry is run and operated by the School of Social Work.

How Does the Pantry Work?

Feed My Sheep is set up as a “choice pantry”, meaning that it is set up like a grocery store. Our clients make private appointments, then come in and choose their food products according to the guidelines posted.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

If you are not able to make your appointment or would like to reschedule for a different day. Please follow the instructions on your confirmation email from PantrySoft. 

If you are having trouble canceling and/or rescheduling your appointment, please contact our office for assistance. 

What We Have In the Pantry

Grains

We offer a variety of grains such as rice, pastas, cereal, oats, and ramen. (Limited to 2 items per week)

Proteins

We offer a variety of proteins such as dried & canned beans, shelf stable milks, canned chili, and nut butters. (Limited to 4 items per week)

Canned Fruits & Vegetables

We offer a variety of canned fruits & vegetables such including various canned soups & stews. (Limited to 8 items per week)

Household Products

We offer a variety of household items such as laundry detergent, soap, cleaners, and toiletries. (Limited to 4 items per week)

Weekly & Seasonal

We have a rotation of items donated each week including fresh produce, frozen products, and bakery items. We also have a selection of seasonal items (subject to availability).

Frequently Asked Questions

I would like to donate to the pantry, how can I do so?
Thank you for be willing to donate to the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry! There are a couple different ways you can donate to the pantry: 

  • In-Kind Donation: This would be the donation of physical items to the pantry. You are welcome to bring these items to the pantry during our hours of operation, or we also have a donation barrel right outside our door that you can leave items (if you need a donation slip, please be sure to visit us during our hours of operation).
  • Financial Donations: The is a monetary donation that can be made online or in-person. In the memo please make sure to put Feed My Sheep Food Pantry. 
What are some items that the pantry is in need of?
We have a list of current items that are in high demand at the a pantry that can be found on our In-Kind Donation page.
I would like to volunteer at the pantry, how can I do so?
We welcome volunteers year round in the pantry. For current volunteer opportunities, please contact our office.
I missed my appointment, how do I reschedule?
If you would like to reschedule for the current week, please contact our office and we can get you scheduled for the next available appointment. 

If there are no available appointments for the current week, you will be able to make an appointment for the next week online.
