IGNITE Live is a community event that takes place each year on a Saturday night at Southern Adventist University. It’s a 90-minute highly entertaining and inspirational live event with games, audience interaction, a live band, and the participation of a special guest. Think “the Christian Jimmy Fallon”. Everything is student-led, student-fundraised, and student-executed!

The show focuses on using a family-friendly late-night format to discuss difficult or taboo topics through the Christian lens. In the past, IGNITE Live has talked about the faith journey, joy despite pain, and dealing with stress and anxiety.

IGNITE Live is a production brought to you by the School of Journalism and Communication, but it is a product of the hard work of students from all around Southern's campus. In past shows, we have hosted Christian film director Alex Kendrick, Harlem Globetrotter Melvin Adams, and Christian Singer/Songwriter Cory Asbury. You can learn more about our past guests below.
