EARTH SCIENCE

The Earth Science unit contains lots of interesting material about rocks and fossils, particularly in the even-year books. This is a great place to teach your students about evidence from geology and paleontology that is consistent with the biblical story of the flood. It can also be a valuable opportunity to learn how to deal with evidence that appears to conflict with the Bible.

Origins Resources include two series about the geologic column. The first is an introductory set of four presentations. The second set (15 presentations) also begins simply, but builds up gradually to evaluate whether evidence in the geologic column is consistent with evolution and explain radiometric dating.
